Spoon Carving
Needed something to keep my hands busy.
Started carving spoons from driftwood.
On two of them I used coals to burn the bowl.

First Knife I Made:
When Jors was but a boy, his dad made this machete from a piece of spring steel. Jors decided to shorten the blade and cut off a piece of it. I took that piece and started with my first knife.
Lacking the plans/skills/tools to put grips on the knife, I decided to wrap the handle with paracord.
At first I just winded the paracord onto the handle to be able to test the knife.
Chopping away at a piece of wood. No problems and stil paper-cut-sharp afterwards.
Then decided that the paracord should look better on the handle.
You-tube is your friend.
PS: Never attemp this with knife already sharpened ! Hands were bleeding from some serious cuts.
I was not happy with the look of the two string plait and decided to change it to a three string and add some different color paracord aswell.

The sheath was made from some conveyor belt. Smooth green side is on the inside.
Camo's - Hand painted
It started with a two piece kaki overall.
Fabric paint was used in abundance. (so was patience)
It's one of those projects that will never be completely finished.
